We are seeking trade qualified Diesel Technicians to join our William Adams team based out of our Clayton workshop.  This is a full-time permanent position, offering the following rosters:

• 7 x 7 (Wed - Tues, 12 hour days)
• 5 x 2 (Mon - Fri, 8 hour days) 
• 4 x 3 (Mon - Thurs or Tues to Fri, 10 hour days)

ABOUT THE ROLE 

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of all types of Caterpillar equipment and components.  

Your typical day will look a little like this:

• Trouble-shooting, repairing and maintenance of Cat equipment and their components; hydraulics, transmissions and engines   
• Starting your day off in a Cats meeting, discussing safety & new topics
• Compiling and completing accurate reporting
• Working as a team to manage your time and maximise efficiency
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Work alongside a high performing team, who are passionate about the gear they work on

ABOUT YOU 

You will bring the following skills, experience, and attributes to the role:

• A fully qualified Diesel Technician with practical experience
• Previous experience working on Cat machinery (great to have)
• A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
• A proactive and positive attitude, with strong work ethic
• Ability to pass a pre-employment D&A screen and functional assessment
