Business Improvement Project Manager

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

 

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Improvement Project Manager to join our team in our Clayton head office. This role is instrumental in establishing and maintaining a culture of Continuous Improvement through Project Management, with a strong focus on Business Systems Analytics.

 

This full-time permanent role will see you coordinating the development, planning, facilitation, and successful delivery of business projects which are aligned to our Strategic Plan.

 

Your daily responsibilities will include:  

  • Development of project implementation plans, maintaining project schedules, tracking progress and reporting on project deliverables
  • Research and create business analysis to assist with proposals, quotes and Continuous Improvement (CI) solutions
  • Managing cross functional project leaders and team members in successfully delivering project management initiatives
  • Managing multiple key business projects and teams simultaneously
  • High level of key stakeholder management within all Departments of the business
  • Leading by example and being an advocate for our core values of Integrity, Commitment, Teamwork, Excellence and Sustainability

ABOUT YOU

 

You will bring your experience partnering with teams at all levels, including Senior leadership and be a Business Improvement catalyst who continuously drives, develops and maintains a culture of Continuous Improvement.

 

You have the desire and ability to lead teams from various departments within the organisation, through project management. You are driven and a strong collaborator who seeks out information to gain a broader understanding of the various core business systems and processes.

 

You will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Substantial experience delivering systems projects on time and within budget
  • High level of business analytics and research capability
  • Proven history of managing successful project teams via Project Management principles resulting in positive business deliverables
  • Experience working with proven project methodologies, including 6Sigma, Lean, Agile or Prince2
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (preferred)
  • Self-starter, self-motivated and a team player with a drive for success
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite skills essential
  • A strong commitment to safety
