Right now, we are seeking a qualified Diesel Technician to join our Traralgon workshop team on a 5 x 2 roster (Monday to Friday) roster. This is a full-time permanent position, offering stability and the chance to join a brand that is synonymous with outstanding customer service and first-class machinery. ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will assist with the repairs and maintenance of all types of Caterpillar equipment and components, while ensuring customer satisfaction and value for money. What a typical day in the workshop will look like: - Trouble shooting, repairing & maintaining of Cat equipment and components
- Starting your day off in a Cats meeting, discussing safety & new topics
- Work alongside a high performing, enthusiastic team who are passionate
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
ABOUT YOU You enjoy working fast, to a high standard and being challenged every day. You're a natural problem solver and you enjoy working in a workshop environment. You will bring the following skills, experience, and attributes to the role: - A fully qualified Diesel Technician with practical experience
- Previous experience working on Cat machinery (great to have)
- A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
- A proactive and positive attitude, with strong work ethic
- Ability to pass a pre-employment D&A screen and functional assessment
