Learning & Development Administrator
Laverton or Clayton

We are on the search for an experienced and highly motivated Learning & Development Administrator to join our William Adams People & Culture team. Based in Laverton or Clayton, with flexible working arrangements available, you will report directly to the Learning & Development Supervisor.

 

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

 

One of our most significant focal points in our Strategic Plan is investing in our people. Our Learning & Development team and this role play a pivotal part in this, by ensuring professional and accurate training support is provided to our business across Victoria and Tasmania.

 

Overall, your key objective in this role is to successfully coordinate and support the delivery of training and assessment programs facilitated by the William Adams Institute.

 

Your typical day in this role will include:

  • Managing incoming calls and inquiries about the William Adams Institute
  • Entering all training attendance records accurately into VETtrak
  • Preparation and coordination of all training materials and assisting Trainers with upcoming courses/events
  • Assisting with all administrative tasks associated with our Apprenticeship Program
  • Booking of accommodation and organising travel requirements
  • Assist with audit, compliance and monthly reporting activities
  • General and varied administrative tasks, including invoicing

ABOUT YOU

 

You are an experienced Learning & Development Administrator, who is adaptable and has a continuous improvement mindset. You thrive on being a true business partner, who prides yourself on friendly, speedy and accurate customer service.

 

To be considered for this role you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience working within an RTO or an internal Training/Learning & Development function
  • Well-developed administration skills, including strong attention to detail, accuracy and time management skills
  • A passion/strong interest in Training/Learning & Development
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to positively engage with people at all levels
  • Proven experience (intermediate to advanced) with Microsoft Office suite
  • Previous experience working with Learning Management Systems, specifically VETtrak would be highly regarded
  • Relevant tertiary qualification such as Certificate III in Business Administration or higher
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment (desirable)
