We are seeking a qualified Field Service Diesel Technician to join our Metro Service Team based out of our Laverton branch with the majority of the work based in the Greater Geelong area. 

This is a full-time permanent position, offering a 7x7 or a 5x2 roster, whichever best supports your lifestyle.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

Reporting to the Service Supervisor, you will provide same day, safe breakdown repair services for our customer’s onsite equipment. 

A typical day will look a little like this:

• Onsite technical troubleshooting, fault finding and diagnostics using Cat diagnostics tools
• Repairs and servicing of Cat equipment and their components; hydraulics, transmissions and engines   
• Providing outstanding customer service and prepare accurate service reports
• Manage your time and maximise efficiency
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Liaise with our internal service and parts department
• Maintain your William Adams service vehicle

ABOUT YOU 

• Qualified Diesel Technician with practical experience in the field
• Proactive, have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
• Previous experience working on Cat machinery
• Effective time management
• A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
• Current drivers’ licence (must have)
