Right now, we are seeking a qualified Boilermaker to join our small and cohesive team based in our Clayton workshop, working Monday to Friday.

ABOUT THE ROLE

 

Reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor, you will support the wider Product Support Parts & Service team. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment for all colleagues and ensuring customer satisfaction and value for money. 

 

A typical day in the workshop will include:

  • Heavy fabrication and welding work
  • Air-arc gouging
  • Welding with Flux cored wire
  • Working with Bisalloy and cast steels
  • Straightening of heavy components
  • Service reporting – job completion paperwork
  • New product manufacturing
  • General workshop duties, technical guidance and support for apprentices 

ABOUT YOU

 

You will have the following skills, experience & attributes:

  • Good communicator with a great attitude
  • Loads of drive and willingness to teach, coach and mentor
  • High focus on safety
  • Relevant trade qualification
  • Experience within the earthmoving industry
  • Current Forklift license
  • The ability to work unsupervised on site as required
  • High attention to detail
