We are seeking a trade qualified Field Service Diesel Technician to join our William Adams team based out of our Swan Hill branch. 

This is a full-time permanent position, working either a 7 x 7 (Wednesday to Tuesday, 12 hour day) or 5 x 2 (Monday - Friday) roster. Whatever best suits your lifestyle!

Your typical day will include:

• Onsite technical troubleshooting and fault finding including; diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on Cat equipment and their components; hydraulics, transmissions and engines   
• Providing outstanding customer service to our loyal customers
• Compiling and completing accurate reporting
• Working autonomously to manage your time and maximise efficiency
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Liaising with our internal service and parts department
• Maintaining a William Adams service vehicle

ABOUT YOU 

To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

• Be a qualified Diesel Technician with extensive experience with Caterpillar machines (or similar)
• Be able to service customers and their equipment to a very high standard
• Have advanced mechanical diagnostic skills with Cat computer diagnostics knowledge (great to have) 
• A proactive and positive attitude, with strong work ethic
• A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
• Hold a current Drivers and Light Rigid Licence (heavy vehicle licence is also highly regarded)
• Proven ability to be self-motivated and to work unsupervised
