Field Service Coordinator
A very exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Service Coordinator to join our busy Clayton Metro Field Services Team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this full time permanent role, you will coordinate the service and repair of Caterpillar Power Systems products to assist our technicians in providing “front-line” support.
Communication is paramount in this position to ensure our company standards are always met, whilst providing the highest level of customer service and value for money for our valued customers.
Your typical day in this role will include:
Managing our Power Systems customers across Melbourne Metro
Planning and scheduling all service jobs for our technicians in the field
Liaising with our technicians for status reports and providing updates to our customers
Work directly with Service Supervisors and Managers to ensure planned work is conducted within agreed timeframes
Preparing invoices and work in progress responsibilities
You are a self-starter who is willing to go the extra mile to get a “winning” result for all. You are a terrific collaborator and listener, with a great ability to think on your feet.
You will ideally have the following skills, experience and attributes:
Excellent verbal communication and rapport-building skills
Have an empathetic approach with a calm disposition
Proven conflict resolution abilities under pressure
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with moving targets
Experience in earth-moving or automotive would be highly regarded (if you have a mechanical trade, even better!)
Experience working with various computer systems – financial and operational
Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
