Right now, we are seeking a customer focused and highly motivated individual to take on the busy role of Field Service Coordinator at our Burnie branch.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

 

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be focused on driving daily and monthly key performance objectives to ensure that we surpass our customers’ expectations to “Be the Customers’ Needs”.

 

Your key objective is to coordinate the service and repair of Caterpillar machinery to assist our technicians in providing “front-line” support.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating the day to day customer work in progress
  • Owning the customer contact for all jobs from start to finish, to achieve customer satisfaction and return for the company
  • Coordinate after-hours breakdown support
  • Working directly with the Service Supervisor to ensure work planning is conducted smoothly
  • Day to day invoicing and work in progress responsibilities.

ABOUT YOU   

 

Communication and collaboration are your strengths. You have experience ensuring a high level of company standards are always met, while providing outstanding customer service and value for money. 

 

To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience, and attributes: 

 

Essential requirements

  • Excellent verbal communication and rapport-building skills
  • Highly developed time management and multitasking skills
  • The drive and passion to deliver first class customer service
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills 
  • A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures

Desirable requirements

  • Experience providing an empathetic approach with a calm disposition
  • Proven conflict resolution abilities under pressure
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar systems including DBS
  • A mechanical background ideally in heavy machinery or automotive would be highly regarded
  • Ability to understand and diagnose equipment faults
