Equipment Sales Representative - Major Accounts

Here is your opportunity to express your interest to join our Clayton branch as an Equipment Sales Representative - Major Accounts.  




Reporting to the Equipment Sales Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Growing sales by offering new, used and rental equipment via finance and purchasing options such as ‘Rent to Buy’
  • Offering a high level of service and expertise to our major customer base in the metropolitan area
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships across a wide range of influencers
  • Utilisation of the CRM system
  • Engaging and representing William Adams professionally within industry associations and events
  • Creating a positive, value added perception that will differentiate us from the competition



You will have a hunger to grow sales whilst displaying a true passion for the product. Your strong relationship building skills will compliment your previous experience and set you up for success in this pivotal role.


You'll be resourceful, adaptable and have the ability to work independently, whilst proactively maintaining a network of relationships with key players in the industry.


To be considered you will ideally possess the following:

  • Minimum of 5 years Caterpillar Sales Management experience, that includes Major Account portfolio management
  • Be familiar and proficient in Paving Product Application (essential)
  • Caterpillar Training accreditation (preferable)
  • Heavy industry knowledge and experience across the Melbourne Metropolitan area (essential)
  • Knowledge in the use of Caterpillar critical application tools such as VST (value Selling Tool), along with Caterpillar FPC (Fleet Production Calculator) or equivalent would be advantageous



A competitive remuneration package is on offer which includes,

  • Base annual salary of $65,000 - $68,000 plus super & commission
  • iPhone, laptop, and fully maintained company vehicle
