William Adams has an extremely successful CAT Rental StoreTM operation. We rent Caterpillar products to the construction, mining, quarrying, agricultural, and marine markets.   

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Manager of CAT Rental, we are looking for an experienced Rental Fleet Maintenance Controller to be based at our Laverton branch whilst working across our four locations, who has the ability to work with a number of internal and external stakeholders in our business to ensure that key performance objectives are upheld and maintained.

Key responsibilities of this role are to:

• Oversee efficiency of preventative maintenance and servicing of rental equipment fleet
• Determine and manage cost effective major repairs to equipment fleet
• Analysis and providing recommendations on equipment performance for suitability to the Rental fleet
• Ensure warranty claims and service costs are in line with the business requirements
• Maintain the established contamination control culture
• Maintain and drive safety awareness in line with company objectives

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this role we are looking for the following skills, experience & attributes:

• Relevant trade qualification (Diesel Mechanic or similar)
• Seasoned experience and time within a similar role and industry
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills 
• Mechanical understanding/comprehension of CAT products and services
• Ability to anticipate and identify opportunities and develop a plan to implement solutions
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle a number of simultaneous tasks
• Intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft office
• Proven ability to establish and maintain business relationships
• Have a commitment to safety
