Rental Sales Manager

We are currently seeking to appoint a Rental Sales Manager within our Cat Rental operation. This is a permanent full-time position, based at our Dandenong & Laverton locations primarily responsible for the development and support of our key accounts /customers and our CAT Rental Sales Team.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

 

Reporting to the Manager – Cat Rental, you will be responsible for representing William Adams Cat and driving engagement at a corporate and site level on iconic civil construction projects throughout the Melbourne Metropolitan area and Tasmania.

 

Key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Managing and growing revenue by working with our portfolio of Tier One Civil Construction customers and delivering a differentiated offering that adds value to our customer’s organisation
  • Lead, coach and develop your sales team (4 direct reports)
  • Drive and support marketing initiatives to achieve budgeted revenue targets
  • Developing strong relationships with key decision makers at a corporate and project level providing value and support
  • Grow and develop both Caterpillar and general construction plant rental to achieve revenue and utilisation targets
  • Engage with the broader William Adams business to support our customers in bid and execution of plant management strategies and plans
  • Ensure all CRM activities are captured, and call plans are executed in a timely manner
  • Be actively engaged in and represent Cat Rental within industry associations and events

 ABOUT YOU 

 

This is a senior role within the Rental team and will suit someone who is driven, can demonstrate a passion for the product and comes with experience in the rental space.

  • Strong project and commercial management skills
  • Superior people leadership and communication skills

  • Have excellent computer literacy and CRM experience

  • Must be self-motivated, reliant and a proven team player
