Field Service Coordinator
Clayton, Vic


A very exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Service Coordinator to join our busy Clayton Metro Field Services Team. 

 

Looking for work life balance? In this role you will work 7 days on and 7 days off on a rotating roster (working Wednesday – Tuesday) from 6am to 6pm. 

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

 

In this full time permanent role, you will coordinate the service and repair of Caterpillar machinery to support our technicians in the 'front-line'.

 

Communication is paramount to ensure we provide the highest level of customer service and value for money to our valued customers.

 

Your typical day in this role will include:

  • Managing a designated portfolio of customers across the Melbourne Metro region, providing sound technical advice and support
  • Scheduling service jobs for our technicians in the field
  • Liaising with our technicians to obtain status reports to ensure updates are provided to our customers in a timely manner
  • Working directly with Supervisors to ensure work planning is optimised
  • Day to day invoicing and work in progress responsibilities

ABOUT YOU

 

You are a self-starter who is willing to go the extra mile to get a “winning” result for all. You are a terrific collaborator and listener, with a great ability to think on your feet.  

 

You will ideally have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Excellent verbal communication and rapport-building skills
  • Have an empathetic approach with a calm disposition
  • Proven conflict resolution abilities under pressure
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with moving targets
  • Experience working with various computer systems – financial and operational
  • Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Mechanical and trade skills are desired but not essential for the candidate with the right attitude
