Customer Service Coordinator - Earthmoving

The Earthmoving Team at our Laverton branch has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and customer focused individual to join them as the Service Coordinator.




Reporting to the Branch Manager, this challenging front line position would suit someone looking to further their career as a leader within our team. Dealer parts and service computer systems knowledge and a mechanical trade background are preferable for this role given you will be providing technical support to both customers and service technicians.


Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Owning the customer contact for all jobs from start to finish, to achieve customer satisfaction and return for the company
  • Booking and scheduling all work as as well as managing and invoicing work in progress
  • Working directly with the wider team to ensure effective coordination of job scheduling and control to ensure customer expectations are achieved
  • Maintaining control of service recoverables and consumables on workshop jobs
  • Providing quotation/estimates for repairs when necessary
  • Manage after-hours breakdown support
  • Driving daily and monthly key performance objectives to ensure that we surpass the customers’ expectations to “Be the Customers’ Needs”




To be considered for this role we are looking for the following skills, experience & attributes:


Essential requirements:

  • Basic mechanical knowledge 
  • Highly organised with good communication skills
  • Physically able to lift manually 20kgs, drive and operate plant & machinery, work in varied conditions (outdoors, heat, dust, cold etc), sit/stand for extended periods
  • A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures

 Desirable requirements: 


(All points below are preferred but not essential, training will be provided)

  • Operational experience within the earthmoving industry (preferably Caterpillar) 
  • Current Heavy Vehicle Licence (preferred but not essential)
  • Current Drivers Licence
