We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated experienced Accounts Payable Officer in our Finance Team based at Clayton.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Controller, this person will be required to develop close working relationships with all branch and departmental administration staff and will be the first point of contact with regards to day to day accounts payable related matters.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
Review and process incoming creditor invoices to ensure compliance with company procedures and Australian tax requirements
Reconciliation of the SAP accounts payable and vendor statements
Back up data entry of journals and accounts payable responsibilities of others in the Accounts Payable team
Monitor and control branch rental payments
To be considered for this role we are looking for the following skills, experience & attributes:
2 – 3 year’s experience in a similar role
Demonstrated ability to process high volumes, approx. 100 per day with accuracy
Microsoft Office skills, Intermediate/Advanced Excel, Word & Outlook
A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
You will need to be capable of handling several tasks simultaneously. Good knowledge of SAP or ERP would be highly advantageous.
