Equipment Sales Rep - North East Metro

As a result of a restructure, we have a newly created role open for an Equipment Sales Rep to look after New, Used and Rental Equipment. Based out of our Laverton branch, you will support the growing Northern and Western regions of metropolitan Melbourne.

 

Reporting to the Equipment Sales Manager – Construction, you will be representing the organisation and driving engagement with our current and future customer base.

ABOUT THE ROLE

 

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Grow machine population and market share in this territory through the sale of New, Used and Rental equipment
  • Service existing customers while also identifying new business opportunities
  • Customer coverage – ability to build and maintain customer relationships across a wide range of influencers
  • Complete CRM activities and associated tasks such as promptly acting on sale leads
  • Creating a positive, value added perception that will differentiate William Adams from the competition

ABOUT YOU

 

To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience & attributes:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Sales role
  • Excellent communication and passionate in retaining customer relationships 
  • Commercially aware with strong negotiating and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical skills with a mechanical aptitude
  • Self-driven and organised with a hunger to sell
  • A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
