Right now, we are seeking qualified Diesel Technicians / Mechanics to join our Burnie workshop on a 5x2 roster. ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Service Supervisor, you will be assisting with the repairs and maintenance of all types of CAT equipment and components, maintaining a safe working environment for all colleagues and ensuring customer satisfaction & value for money. Key responsibilities of this role include: - Trouble shooting and repairs of all types of CAT equipment and components
- Ensuring appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are applied at all times
- Maintaining a high level of presentation standards
ABOUT YOU To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills, experience & attributes: - Experience as a fully qualified Diesel Technician
- A strong commitment to safety, health and environment procedures
- Familiarity of Caterpillar machinery and computer diagnostics (highly desirable)
- Working knowledge of Caterpillar parts and service systems (desirable, other heavy diesel machinery experience considered).
WE WILL OFFER YOU... an attractive salary package, including a base rate between $28-$34 per hour (dependent on your skill level) plus super, PPE and laundered uniform.
