We have a great opportunity for a highly motivated and customer focused Parts Interpreter at our Burnie branch. 

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

 

You will be responsible for providing first class customer service, parts interpretation and sales to both internal and external customers.

 

The main responsibilities of this position will include:

  • Facilitating parts orders and locating of parts for both internal & external customers.
  • Building and maintaining productive customer service to new and existing customers
  • Ensuring company accounts receivable policies are adhered to in relation to parts sales transactions
  • Participation in an after-hours ‘on-call’ roster for emergency parts supply and a Saturday morning duty roster
  • Assist as required with warehouse operations, including reman processing and the manufacture / repair of hose assemblies.

ABOUT YOU 

 

To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience & attributes:

  • Experience in a customer service position in a fast paced environment
  • Mechanical knowledge would be preferred, a background in automotive would be highly regarded
  • Exceptional communication skills: a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar products (preferred but not essential) 
  • Current drivers and forklift licences.
